What is IPHAS?

IPHAS is a national, non-statutory professional council dedicated to advancing Integrated Health in India - with Psychological Science at it's core. We believe health is not fragmented. Mental health is not seperate from medicine. Well-being is not a luxury - it is foundational.

IPHAS brings together psychology, mental health, occupational therapy, behavioural sciences, yoga, community health, rehabilitation, education, research, preventive sciences and technology innovations (AI) under one integrated framework, ensuring relevance in the modern era. It serves as a hub for research, education, training, skill development, advocacy, and policymaking.

IPHAS is not another association. It is a national movement to redesign health, where psychology leads, research guides, disciplines collaborate, and well-being becomes accessible to every citizen.

The Indian Psychological & Health Allied Sciences Council (IPHAS) invites individuals and institutions committed to advancing Integrated Health in India to become part of a growing national ecosystem. IPHAS membership is not merely an affiliation. It is participation in a structured, research-driven, interdisciplinary movement where psychological science leads, disciplines collaborate, and wellbeing becomes accessible to all.

Eligibility: School students (Grade 9 onwards), Undergraduate (UG) students, Postgraduate (PG) students, Students from psychology, mental health, education, social work, and allied disciplines

Membership Fee: ₹999/- (Annual)

Integrated Health Professional Member

Eligibility: Psychologists, Mental Health Professionals, School Counselors, Occupational therapists, Special educators, Yoga therapists, Speech therapists, Nutrition professionals, Behavioral health specialists and Professionals contributing to Integrated Health Systems

Research & Academic Member

Eligibility: PhD Scholars, Research Scholars, Early-career academicians and researchers

Institutional Member

Lifetime Professional Member

Eligibility: Senior professionals, Long-term contributors and supporters, Individuals seeking permanent association with the Council

Global Integrated Health Member

Eligibility: Professionals, academicians, researchers, and students residing outside India who are engaged in psychology, mental health, public health, education, occupational therapy, yoga therapy, behavioral sciences, or allied integrated health disciplines.

Membership Fee: ₹3,999/- (Annual)

Digital Integrated Health Affiliate Member

Eligibility: Individuals (within or outside India) seeking online-only access to IPHAS programs, knowledge resources, and networking opportunities without voting rights or governance eligibility.Kindly Note: Digital Affiliate Members do not possess voting rights and are not eligible for executive or policy-making roles unless upgraded to higher membership categories.
